A woman checks into a hotel room to await the arrival of her lover. But when he comes, it’s not who you’d expect.
The first production of “The Year of the Short”, Last Date is another no-budget, Adam-and-Amelia-and-a-7D kind of film. Shot while on vacation in Vancouver, this is largely an experiment in picture & sound editing. The focus here was not on constructing a story, but rather on montage: the use of sound & image to construct a story.
