A young woman learns that her older sister has had another miscarriage. At the funeral, the family begins to fracture under the stress, so the woman offers to be the surrogate for her older sister. She gets pregnant, but it’s a difficult pregnancy and puts a strain on her relationship with her fiance. And when her doctors tell her that she’ll never have another child, she’s forced to make a decision: keep her promise and save her family; or keep the baby and start one of her own.
